Other than our limo ride to the airport, and being greeted by our Make-A-Wish volunteer Nancy (and Chris - not pictured) our day of travel was pleasantly uneventful.
This was our view of the city as we approached Hong Kong.
After checking in to the hotel, we made our way to a little restaurant called "Hing Fat" down the street. I took a picture of the menu for those of you who like to eat. There were lots of interesting things to choose from: Spicy Liquor Poached Snails, Wok-Fried Goose Intestines, Deep-Fried Salted Hairtail (what!?), or Braised Chicken Feet with Peanuts.
In the window of the restaurant, there is a fishtank with all sorts of interesting creatures...
Well, with the 13 hour time difference, and the 27 hour travel day from Scandia to Hong Kong, we are tuckered out. Emma had her treatment and is in bed. You will surely hear from her tomorrow. She is so excited to be here!!!
